Compatibility with NAT (Network Address Translation)?
SUMMARY
BlackICE is NAT compatible, with the exception of "winroute".
DETAILS
NAT systems are used so that many machines can share a single
Internet connection. BlackICE will communicate through hardware
based NAT devices.
BlackICE is also compatible with Windows 98 Internet Connection
Sharing (ICS). An ICS box running BlackICE will protect all machines
located behind that box.
BlakcICE is NOT compatible with winroute from Tiny software.
winroute bypasses the TCP/IP stack and therefore, bypasses BlackICE.
