The image shows what you might see in this condition. Instead
of downloading the program from our web-site, it has actually
attempted to display the program. Since the program is binary
information, it displays as a bunch of junk.
On Netscape, you might be able to solve this problem by
hitting "-Refresh" (i.e. clicking on the refresh button
while holding the shift key). This forces the browser to
ignore any cached information and refresh on the file.
On Internet Explorer, this is a little bit more difficult.
Clearing the entire cache should fix this problem. One customer
just looked inside the browser cache for the file (by searching
for his license key that is part of the file name). He deleted
just that file, and was successful.
Another possibility would be to change the URL so that the
browser thinks it is a different file. Add something like "&junk=true"
to the end of it in the browser (the update process ignores the extra
information).
In short, there are numerous technical ways around the problem,
but the probably sure-fire method would be to clear the browser
cache and restart the browser.
