The update program choose multiple mechanisms to make sure
the product has stopped correctly before replacing files.
One of these techniques is the file "stopbi.txt" which the
GUI looks for on occasion. If the file exists, the GUI will
shut itself down.
We are currently investigating a bug where this file is not
deleted. This results in the file never going away, and BlackICE.EXE
always going away when launched.
Note that this has no effect on the background monitoring program
blackd.exe, so you are still protected.
The solution is to go into the directory where you've installed
the product, and delete it yourself manually.
