Similar to impersonation, but requires a much higher comitment. Examples: - Pose as a possible new hire, go on an interview, find out lots about the company (for other attacks, or in its own right for competitive perposes).
- Get hired on as a consultant. Run hacking software from inside the firewall.
- Actually get hired as an employee.
The biggest drawback for that hacker is that he/she could get caught, red-handed. Deniability becomes much harder.
